This April Edinburgh Snowsports is ending the season in style by heading to the awesomenesss that is TIGNES baby!
Tignes is in the top European ski area of L'Espace Killy. Together with Val D'Isère it makes one of the largest ski areas in the world. With the town at 2100m and the the glacier peaking at a dizzy 3500m, the conditions will be good right through the season. And we are staying in Tignes Val Claret (self catered apartments - details to follow) which puts us right in the heart of the action!!
New to snow??
We've organised beginners packages to get you sorted with all the gear and lessons you need, plus Val Claret has a beginners area right on its doorstep. Simples!
Want to learn some mo?
Then check out the intermediate lessons, with 6hr or 10hr packs available. Or Else pick up the shorter Refreshers option that will get you back on your feet in no time.
Ride like a pro?
Tignes has plenty to keep you keen all week with some awesome terrain on and off piste, and you can upgrade your pass to unlock all of Val D'Isère too. Thats 300km of pistes including 27 black runs, 9 of them Naturides (black, unmarked & unpisted). Yes pleaaase!
Freestyle
This March Tignes will host the very first European Winter X Games, so freestylers you are home! Not only does Tignes have its own park, but your basic Super-Tignes pass will also get you to Val D'Isère's internationally recognised Oakley Valpark.
Need Gear?
Then of course you can rent skis/board from Off The Piste and collect it in resort. But why not save yourself some cash? Just book equipment carriage now (£10) and then rent from our very own EUSSC lockup nearer the time (£40 for the week) SAVING YOU UP TO £34!!! For more info email

If you are taking skis/board with you, then there are limited places for them, so make sure you book 'equipment carriage' as soon as you have the chance.
When the lifts close....
Val Claret has some of the top bars anywhere in Tignes, and by the end of the week you're guaranteed to know them well. Plus it has the two best clubs in the Melting Pot (loved by Brits) and the Blue Girl euro club. We're looking to represent Edinburgh on and off the hill, so be sure to get involved in the themed nights too!
The Tobagganing and BBQ night is also unmissable: We get taken by bus round to Tignes Les Boisses (10mins down the mountain) where we go up the lifts after closing and tobaggan it back down. Then we hit a massive BBQ that is laid on for us at a restaurant right on the lake and the drink keeps coming til midnight when we bus back to Val Claret.
