EL VICE PRESIDENTE
Remember, learn to ski/ board in a day is now available to book! It's 6 hours of intensive (or relaxed) learning with our friends at Snow Factor in Glasgow.
When??
Wednesday the 21st of November. It begins at 10am, finishes at 6pm, so we will be leaving Edinburgh at 8am from George Square. It costs just £65 (lessons, transport, rental).
They also have just opened a sick new german themed bar so we can defiantly check that out if you are all keen.
We dont have loads of places so book on quick, and if there are tonnes of
you i can always add on extra lessons. It's a super fun way of learning to ski but remember that its only for beginners.

SOCIAL THIS THURSDAY
Hello to all and to all hello!
Thanks for yet another awesome social. The pub crawl was fantastic fun with much nakedness and cloth swapping. One highlight was definitely cookie monster crowd surf!
As already mentioned with next week being BUDS which will inevitably be CARNAGE this week’s social will be bit more chilled. We’re going to base it around some drinking games like beer pong and flip cup. Even though it will be more “chilled” don’t take this as meaning you cant come along and get plastered on RP Jaegers, before trying to fall asleep in Cab Vol, as with a dissertation hand in on Thursday, I will most definitely be going large.
Furthermore, even though last Thursday was our official Halloween pub crawl, this week is really Halloween, so do come down in fancy dress. DRESSING UP IS FUN.

XMAS TRIP!!!
1. So! This is the stage we are at now with Xmas Trip.
OTP have sent out the emails on Friday to those lucky enough to be at the top of the reserve list and moved onto the trip list. This takes into account when you booked on and if you've paid your deposit. I have the complete list now so if you are in any doubt drop me an email and I can check for you.
Hope you got on! And everyone else has managed to pay at least their deposits so we are rocking and rolling for Les Arcs 2012!
2. EXTRA OPTIONS!

BUY THE TRIP SWEATER! This is the niftiest garment we’ve had to date. Honestly. People will see you walking and shout hey, you there, with that trendy get-up. Where can I get me one of those? And you’ll reply. SORRY PAL. You’ve missed the boat.
You can add on extras you haven’t done already at anytime but to change a pre-selected one you need to phone the number above.
3. If you didn't get on? BUSC MAIN EVENT 2013.
We have a plethora of equally exciting things coming up so do not despair. I’m sure you have all brought your tickets to BUDS on 9th-11th November. BUDS is just the baby bear of BUSC Main Event taking place in Alpe D'Huez from 23rd March - 30th March. Throughout the year remaining there will be dry-slope competitions, indoor competitions taking us through to the biggest student takeover one single ski resort can handle. We will be giving you a lot more information on this in the coming months, including booking dates, but just to let you not hope is not lost if you did not get onto our Xmas Trip this year.

EQUIPMENT!
Hey guys!
We have SUDS and BUDS coming up soon so we will be opening the lockup for that little bit longer! 6 - 7.30! So that means if you are coming down this week to wax your skis or board GET DOWN EARLY so we can let it all dry before scrapping it all off. Sharpening and Waxing galore this Thursday. Rental is open as usual as well..

RACE AND FREESTYLE
Yo yo yo, so Hillend sessions have come to end!! It’s been an awesome 6 weeks, with everyone from freestyle, race and lessons all improving so much and having an awesome time doing it! We’re so proud of you guys! But now the fun starts!!! SUDS (Scottish Universities Dryslope Championships) is this SATURDAY!!!!! Scotlands finest and drunkest will be gathering at Hillend for a whole day of racing, freestyle and carnage! Travel deats will be coming out this week (ie what time and where mini buses etc will be leaving) so keep an eye out for that, and then BUDS IS THE WEEKEND AFTER!!!!!!!!
Too much excitement!
In freestyle news, had an AWESOME session at snowfactor this Friday, honestly probably the best one we’ve ever had so thanks to all of you who made it so amazing!

Finally, and very excitingly, as there is no themed social this week, we (Breez and Eloise) are having a Competitors pre-drinks at our flat on Thursday before the social, and all competitors are welcome! We thought would be a nice way for us all to hang out and for some meet a few new faces before SUDS and BUDS…plus any excuse for a flat party and we are there!!! Will put an event up on facebook will all the details but it should be a messy one…

Quite a lot going on these next couple of weeks so here it goes
1. SUDS
SUDS is this weekend!!! And we are putting a Bus on for spectators to come and watch as all the Scottish universities battle it out at Hillend to be crowned SUDS champions!
-There will be a bar with dirt cheap prices,
-The café will be open to serve hot drinks
-BBQ to line your stomachs for later in the day
-PHAT CHOOONS!!! Will be played all day courtesy of RED BULL DJ’S
-Big air Pro-AM
-Cozy Fat Boys to chill out on with a beer
-Syndicate clothing stall for you to get all the new gear for this season
SUDS after party! This is being held in BASE night club, and tickets are only being SOLD at HILLEND,
SHAKA will be playing and there will be sick drink deals.

2. BUDS
BUDS is approaching in two weeks time! So you had all better start looking out your tartan and face paint to get dressed as some Scottish warriors. Remember there will be prizes for best dressed!!
Well done to all the people who bought tickets!! An email will be coming out shortly about how you can pick them up on the Friday of BUDS.
If you have not bought a ticket, we might be able to get our hands on some more to sell on the Friday and Saturday of BUDS. So keep your eyes posted on the EUSSC face book page.
Remember we are holding a Pre BUDS party on the Thursday night in Vodka Revs, and this is open for all the other universities to come along and experience how awesome our socials are!!
