Hello hello,

Another week of fun and games done!!! And what a week it was... soo much went down.
This week everyone who was involved was trying new things and taking there game to the next level! From everyone getting some new tricks and new skillz at hilend on Wednesday. The new experience of RPJagers on Thursday night fixed with the epicness that was JELLYWRESTLING finished up with everyone going crazy at Lo-gy.  Plus EUSSC was represented well at club presidents dinner... dont worry... dont ask.
Yes those Gaynors were epic, Backflips from everyone, even off the wall!
So this next week we are going to keep it going with a full line up again!!! Bearsden sessions, last Hilend, HALLOWEEN PUB CRAWL!!!
So get involved and we will no doubt have another epic week before SUDS and BUDS is upon us!!!

SOCIAL THIS THURSDAY

HEY HEY YOU SNOW MAMMALS!

We hope you all enjoyed last week's jelly madness! We've only just managed to get ourselves clean...

This week is our second pub crawl of the semester, the infamous HALLOWEEN crawl! So everyone is expected to don their finest fancy dress and join us as once again we take over the streets of Edinburgh. Same rules apply:

- Revs, DOWNSTAIRS, 8pm onwards - first crawl group leaves at 9!
- £10, ten drinks! (Try find that anywhere else!)
- Includes free to entry & queue jump in to Cab Vol after!
- Prizes for challenges and best costumes!

All are welcome - bring your friends, family, GP, deceased pets... this will be even bigger than the last crawl, and that one was just plain madness!

We'll also be handing out our new EUSSC members cards - these get you free entry on thursdays and queue jump all week at Cab Vol, so make sure you grab yours.

XMAS TRIP!!!

LAST CHANCE TO GET THOSE DEPOSITS PAID TODAY!

If you’ve skipped to this section in the hope to find out whether you’ve got that place on Xmas trip you’ve been longing for, SORRY! We are finalising the number of extras beds we will be getting today. If you haven’t paid your deposit whether you’re on the reserve list or trip list your place is NOT SECURE, and you may be bumped off to let someone on who has. Do this now!

Once we know definite numbers we will send an email to everyone who has got a place and I’m afraid the reserve list will be no more and your monies will be returned. So keep an eye on those inboxes.

But it’s not all doom and gloom if you didn’t get on this time; you know to get up earlier for next year! We have plenty more trips in store for you which we will be launching soon so watch this space!

You are free to change your extra options right up until the payment deadline on Friday 23rd November so if you haven’t nabbed one of the exclusive custom designed Xmas Trip Sweater for £25 then do that now!

Now get excited and buy your BUDS tickets for the 11th November – a moral-adjusting weekend not to be missed.

….This Thursday, between 6-7pm the lock-up is open for a very
chilled, relaxed almost mellow evening of waxing and edging to help
service your growing needs… yey!

Next week however - - we will be having a much bigger evening,
and holding a pre-Suds/prepre- Buds servicing night. But more
on that next week..

RACE AND FREESTYLE

Hey guys,

 

Thanks for everyone who braved the monsoon on Wednesday night, Hillend training was awesome! Racers had a sweet duals session, seriously impressed and so happy everyone had a good time! Freestylers were looking steezy as always, some near death experiences on a few backflips but everyone has improved so much! So so proud!

This Wednesday is the LAST Hillend session so we are having a HUGE après session at Teviot after with a ton of stash from the lovely boys at Syndicate to give away to everyone to say thanks for an awesome 6 weeks! So make sure you’re down for that.

SUDS and BUDS is coming up, so everyone keep your eye out for our updates through Facebook and emails about times and logistics, and also for organising a time for anyone who is competing to pay for their BUDS BALL tickets (Gatecrasher £15 & Full ball £45) so look out for that!

Snow Factor Friday session & Logy Gym session were both AMAZING, thanks to everyone who got involved, and only 1 trip to A & E woooooohooo! Result! Mell’s head is all patched up now, too much commitment to the front flip! But on a serious note, so amazing to see so many people learning new stuff and having an awesome time!

Snowfactor Indoor Friday 26th October (this Friday) Meet at George Sqaure at 5.30

We have a 2 hour session from 8-10pm of hitting rails, kickers, boxes and freeskiing We'll get back to Geroge Sqaure about 11pm.

Price for this session is £20 - pay this to me when we leave George Sqaure People on

Bearsden Dryslope sessions on Monday 22nd Oct (This Monday), Monday 29th Oct and Monday 5th Nov Meet at George Sqaure at 5.20 Session is from 7-9.
Price is £40 for all 3 sessions to be paid on the 22nd Oct (FIRST MONDAY) at George Sqaure Return to George Sqaure for about 10 /10.30.

There is free rental at both Bearsden and Snowfactor but the Lock up is doing a competitors deal on equipement Normally is £10 a day to rent, but for competitors they are doing a special deal so it's £40 to rent skis or Boards until 17th Nov (after BUDS) so that you guys can get used to them and be able to ride better on them especially for SUDS and BUDS so have a think and email This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. SCOTTISH TRIPS!

 

Hey guys!!

 

You guys have bought loads of tickets for BUDS which is amazing!! Definitely going to be a good one this year!

 

Unfortunately we can no longer book any more tickets for the Friday night at city, Saturday night BUDS Ball or Gatecrasher tickets.

 

IF YOU HAVE MISSED OUT DON’T WORRY,

 

We still have places for the Saturday day time! This means you can still party up at HILLEND and watch some incredible contests between all the other universities in the UK

With live music and a very cheap bar and 2000 students, it is an atmosphere that cannot be missed!!!

For Scottish skiing this year we have a bit of a surprise for you that we think will give you more opportunity to get into the hills to do more skiing! But we are still finalising details so will let you all know when it’s fully set up!

 

But it is looking like it will be an amazing year for skiing, with more snow falling on cairngorm this week and temperatures dropping next week, we could be in for some of the white stuff!! So lets start praying to the snow gods and we might be lucky with some early snow this season!
