BOOM!

WE TOTALLY WON BUSC!!!

Hey guys,

So the last week has been pretty eventful...thrills, spills and more rum than we thought humanly possible...27 brave warriors set out for Alps D'huez and came back as BUSC CHAMPIONS 2013! Could not be more proud of this phenomenal team effort, staving off serious competition from huge university teams, some bringing over 400 people! Big thanks to everyone who made BUSC and competitors possible this year, couldn't have asked for a better team...SUDS Champs, narrowly beaten at BUDS, destroyed SUISC and BUISC and now bringing back BUSC! Individual  highlights are hard to name as the team effort was so incredible, but huge congratulations to Lucy Mote, coming 2nd in both snowboard  Slalom and GS and bringing home Gold in Slopestyle, and a snazzy new board! A massive well done as well to Kate Angus coming 1st in Slalom and 3rd in GS, and Helen Nelson claiming 3rd in Slalom and 4th in GS. James Filsell powered through some seriously tough competition from the boys to come 7th in Slalom, and then finishing off the duals team of Eloise Greenhalgh, Peter Morrison, Stu Connolly and Kate Angus who came 3rd overall. More duals success for Eloise Greenhalgh, Lyndsey McGhee, Kate Angus and Herlen Nelson who destroyed the opposition to bring home Gold in the women's ski duals! Showing speed clearly runs in the family, Laurence Greenhalgh came 4th in the snowboard Slalom, and Breezy White also taking 4th in Slalom. On the freestyle side of the week, Jaimie Bird killed it in the shred and butter rail jam, taking home Gold, with an injury in practice unfortunately meaning she could not compete in Slopestyle, the team is sending lots of get well cuddles to her and Emma Reece, the newest member of the Knee Club! Breezy White claimed Silver in the shred and butter rail jam and Bronze in slopestyle.

I would tell you more but as the pact says..what happens on BUSC goes on Facebook!  https://www.facebook.com/l.php?u=https%3A%2F%2Fvimeo.com%2F62906348&h=7AQHqddO7&s=1

Thank you very much for a lovely game of competitors,
That's it that's all

Huge love and thank yous to the whole team and everyone who's supported us this year, couldn't have done it without you guys,

big love,

Breezy and Eloise xxxxxxx

SOCIAL AFTER THE AGM THIS THURSDAY!!

Well, it has come. The final social of the term.

If you're still standing and your liver hasn't run screaming from your chocolate star you can pat yourself on the back.

There is one more test for this semester before myself and Henry hand the reigns of dignity ruining, floor lick advocating, RP Jaeger endorsing, double double enforcing, gin idolising social secretarial position onto the next worthy shepherd.

The social will follow the standard schedule, Revs from 8pm, then Cab Vol following this.

Being the last social of the semester and the AGM, we're expecting it to be very messy, and therefore to avoid any confusion with people thinking we are actually humans we thought it was best to dress as animals. So, let your animalistic tendancies run wild!

To fulfill the vegetable and mineral part of the deal, please bring a vegetable (the weirder and SPIKIER the better) and drink minerals all night long (alcohol is a mineral right?). Ok, so basically all you need to do is bring a vegetable. But who ever said you couldn't use a vegetable instead of a golf ball....?

ALSO - if anyone manages to locate a Morinda citrifolia, the new president of the club and the old president will split your drinks for the night!

See you on Thursday, and remember - if in doubt, smell it, blend it and freeze it!

Uncomfortably yours,
Jacob and Henry

p.s. here is the footage from next Thursdays social, somehow its already out?

EQUIPMENT!

Lock up this week will be open Wednesday night between 6 and 7. ALL KIT MUST BE RETURNED THAT DAY OR ELSE YOUR WHOLE DEPOSIT WILL BE LOST.

Thanks guys for a great year! See you all on Wednesday!

TRIPS!!!

Well, it was a BUSC, and WHAT A BUSC. They left as boys and girls and came back slightly smellier, questionable boys and girls. The weather looked incredible, the park shaped smoothly like a good woman and an adequate amount of butt cheek was available. We are yet to learn the scandal that took place, so please, if you have any more information, scandal promoters in your area should be notified. But overall BUSC Champions 2013; we couldn’t be prouder.

Your Race and Freestyle goddesses have all the results waiting for you so skipped on down to them if you can’t wait any longer.

The ravishingly reliable BUSC Media Boys were hot off the mark to get the video highlights posted, toute suite, so if you haven’t seen it, what the hell have you been doing in the library?!?! Check it out below…

Now onto the AGM! That's Awesome Gigantic Meeting to all you novices, and it’s nearly time to hang up my dusty crown and for you lot appoint another Lord of the Dance… I mean Trips. So come down to LT 183, Old College on Thursday and vote for your new committee to continue bringing you awesomeness next year.

Lots of Love, Hattie xx

SCOTTISH TRIPS!!!

Helloo,

Good job for everyone that competed at BUSC!!

This last week has seen the gorms and glenshee get quite a bit of snow, check out some of the pics from this weekend http://www.facebook.com/Winterhighland?fref=ts.

At the moment, I am unable to take a minibus up this coming weekend as I have to go look at some stones on a field trip, so will be freezing my balls off in mull. However, keep an eye out for people wanting their cars to get filled with snow loving enthusiasts on our facebook page.

Also please check out my President and Vice President manifestos, I would love to get your vote!
